The weather improved as we arrived in Halifax. We visited the Halifax Citadel. There were many people in period clothing. The chilly weather didn’t stop them from wearing kilts. After going through their museums (historic and then wartime) we attached ourselves to a pretty guide. It started with a bang. See that rifle exhibition video below.
Later we visited the Halifax Maritime Museum of the Pacific. Interestingly, this is the town where those recovered bodies of the people that died on the Titanic are buried. So, there’s a section dedicated to that tragedy.
We took a walkway back to our ship. Tourist and children were enjoying themselves. We were too!
