The panoramic scenery in Utah is amazing. Photos can’t do it justice. We did include lots of scenes from the road and we hope you get an idea of what we saw.
We spotted more cowboy silhouettes entering Green River UT. We always seem to stop there for gas. No, the Green River itself is actually muddy brown.
Salina UT is where we spotted the Indian Statue in our pictures. Check out those muscles!
At Cove Fort we were given a free tour by an elderly Mormon missionary. It’s what they do. We learned a lot about this little fort. We didn’t know that there was such a thing as an ox lifter. Apparently, you can’t shoe an ox by lifting a leg. If you do, it falls right over. Very creative!
At the Southern Utah University we saw the Centurium featuring statues of twelve famous people. One of our pictures names them. Nearby is the Old Sorrel, Hero Horse Monument. The horse is credited for saving the university by delivering goods in bad weather. Lesson learned: Do something great or unusual and you get a bronze statue.
